Guess Who?!

A lot of people have been surprised that little L sports a dark hair-dew. But in fact all the Boffey babies have been born with dark brown 'fros.
  • V lost all hers and was a bald 6 month old.
  • N's just sort of grew in blonde as the brown slowly faded and fell out.
  • We'll have to see what L's does.
  • (Interestingly enough, the three Snell babies also started life with dark brown head fuzz that eventually fell to flaxen locks.)

Game time... Can you correctly guess who is who of the 3 Boffey babies?! Scroll below and place your bets. (Hint-there are 2 photos of each off spring.) Answers are below, no cheating. :)

Baby A

Baby B

Baby C

Baby D

Baby E

Baby F

Lauren had her two week doctor poke and proding... she's doing fantastic weighing in now at 7 pounds 3 ounces. We're usually up for 2 feedings. (It's currently 4:44 am!) But she's great at filling up and getting back to sleep, so we're doing really well.

Ok, ok, here are the answers!

Baby A= Vallarie
Baby B= Lauren
Baby C= Natalie
Baby D= Vallarie
Baby E= Natalie
Baby F= Lauren

How'd ya do?!

Natalieisms

Natalie is such a character. She is naturally a funny kid who has the ability to find the humor in most situations that seem humorless. Once she sees she's made you crack a smile you're in for a repeat performance to get you laughing even more.

I hope she stays this happy throughout her life. She knows when to be serious and can be, she just likes to make people smile!

Here are a few of my favorite recent Nataliesisms that have made me smile:
  • We'd taken the shade off the lamp to get more light- what does she do? She grabs the large shade and puts it on as a hat. She realizes it's big enough to cover her and she hides underneath it with her little hand sticking out the top.
  • Kohl's gum- Jason was at Kohl's with her and noticed her chewing on a piece of gum. (1st clue to a problem)- He hadn't given her any gum! So he asked where she got the gum. She replies from her purse. (2nd clue-she doesn't have a purse!) He brings this to her attention and with a roll of her eyes she replies her purse is pretend- duh! At this point Jason asks her what she's chewing on and eventually has her spit it out. It's some sort of grey matter that is definately not gum. He concludes she has picked up some lint off a shelf and for what ever reason decided to chew on it. Disgusting... I know!
  • The other night she's sitting at the table eating dinner when I go to change Lauren's diaper. She of course wants to be a part of this so she starts to climb down from her chair. But stops, looks at her dinner plate, points at it and says, "Stay there & stay yummy!"
  • She's walking outside with my mom, looks up at the crescent moon and says, "Look Grandma, the moon is broken."
  • Mary, Val, & Natalie were visiting and feeding the neighboring horses. The horses were getting a little fiesty for more apples and started chomping them quickly. She looked at the horses and tells them, "Horse don't eat me... I'm a kid!"
  • We recently traveled over a set of rough railroad tracks. Because they sit in the back of the car they got a mini roller coaster ride. Natalie says, "That made my belly dance."
  • If you ask Natalie what she wants to be when she grows up she says, "A Vallarina, a fixer (her version of handyman), a veterinarian, a cheerleader, and a mom."

This is currently Natalie's favortie dress. It was given to her by her friend. She wears it 3-4 times a week. :)

Natalie got a pair of star glasses from Chuckee Cheese and thought they'd look good on her one week old sister.

So I thought I could flip this video, but I can't! So turn your head and enjoy "Shake Your Body" Starring: Natalie!

Click-Clack Mafia's origin

Here we go.... I sit typing with one hand while 5 day old L is nursing. V & N are watching their 2nd hour of PBS kid's shows. I'm knee deep into being the mom of three amazing little girls and so far loving it.

I'm sure Click-Clack Mafia sounds a little funny. Anyone with little girls know their love for the loud noise and outrageous fit of the plastic high heeled shoes that we lovingly call click-clack shoes. When we found out baby #3 was indeed a girl, Jas coined the term and stated we'll now have enough little ladies and noisy shoes to have our own Click-Clack Mafia. I can just imagine them loving each other, fighting amongst each other and in the same moment backing each other up against someone else- like my tv inspired version of the mafia. :)
