Random Thought Thursday

• This probably TMI, but I'm sure my restless sleep from 11pm-3am last night was due to ill fitting underwear. Once I changed I slept through till the alarm.

• I know it's old, but I STILL LOVE MY HOUSE.

• Even more old, but I STILL LOVE MY HUSBAND.

• I always wondered what it was like to be in her situation and now I know first hand.

• I am managing stress better :)

• I want to do lots of crafts with the kids. Family Fun and No Time for Flashcards has so many cool and simple ideas.

• I've got to get some decent "house shoes"... the cheap flip flops aren't cutting it and my legs and feet are telling me so.

• I did really poorly on the food budget this month :(

• Yesterday i got what I'm pretty sure is the worst paper cut... of my life... in my right pointer finger cuticle...from the microwave popcorn bag...ouch.

• I wonder what Halloween will be like in this new neighborhood, hoping the amount of outside decorations is a good sign of participation.

• I'm resigned to having to use 2 super heavy duty clamps to keep the dishwasher door closed and therefore letting it complete the washing cycle. I can barely get them on and off, but they are SO much cheaper than a new machine.

• I read the zoo recycles styrofoam containers like from take out... I will now have to compulsively recycle them.

• The zoo has the most adorable baby howler monkey. We watched him hang for dear life from his mom for 15 minutes. We could have sat for 15 more.

• It's too hot for late October...90's and so humid. No rain in at least 3 weeks.

• I have got to learn how to use this Mac better. Wasted opportunities!

Random Thought Thursday

- I had a "organic and vegan" manicure yesterday, not really sure how it qualified as organic and vegan and really didn't want to hear the explanation. Nails look nice though.
- Most adult female Halloween costumes look like stripper attire...so what do strippers wear for Halloween?... jeans and a t-shirt?
- I need to buy curtains, doesn't sound like fun to me.
- I really really love my house.
- V sent her very worn and loved AG doll into the AG doll hospital for a new head. She's had her since she was 4 and is by far her most beloved possession. It took her about 6 months to get the courage to part with her for the 2-3 weeks it'll take before she's back. Poor thing had a difficult time saying goodbye.
-N's getting a new teacher, her's left on very early maternity leave.
-Not really impressed with Kitchen Aid appliances that came with house, expected more.
-I miss reading, gotta get a book.
- My car is filthy but I keep waiting to have kids with me since they get such a kick out of the carwash.
- Aching for a SLR Nikon camera.
- I love my iPhone 4 and am totally addicted and dependent on it. Awesome gift.

Random Thought Thursday

• I'm going to the same Girl Scout camp with my daughter for a Mom N Me camping weekend that I camped at as a Brownie in the late 1980's!

• I am so impressed with the helpful salesman at Sear's. Not only did he price match Home Depot's cheaper price, he got me the upgraded washer that was $150 more for the lower price since the cheaper one couldn't be delivered for 8 days. He also smelled nice.
• I'm going to buy a dishwashing machine from him tomorrow.

• LG will never remember the Space Shuttle. :(

• I really need a GNO.

• I LOVE MY HOUSE, and still can't believe it's really ours.

• Lately cooking dinner holds no interest for me, but I hate fast food dinners.

• I feel more stressed than usual about the usual things.
• Almost everyone I talk to feels the same way.

• I'm glad to see SW (from high school) doing something with his life.

• I really want my grandpa to be a part of the Veteran's Day program at V's school and she came home with the same idea.
• V really is a Mini Jeni.

• I need to get back to the gym. I was able to get rid of the "clothes that are now too small" bin, down to only 3 items too tight. Nice to see progress :)

• I find choosing curtains intimidating. Well, I find most decorating intimidating.

• I need to dvr some SupperNanny for inspiration.

• I need to make some playlists to have in the car. Losing My Religion came on at the perfect moment today.
