November Fun

Natalie loves Kindergarten and I love the crafts and projects she comes home with. Here is her Native American Indian outfit she made.

Complete with baby and papoose.

Our night out to the Canine Companion Gala...so nice to take a break from being mom and dad and just be husband and wife.

L feeding her baby some cereal.

Glad to see L is carrying on a family tradition...she absolutely loves peanut butter and now loves to eat it off the spoon. Daily she asks for some and walks around with her spoonful.

"Yes, I found the Little Debbie brownies and I want one"
V & N made an apple pie!

Yummo!
Lauren walking like a big girl with Nana and Miss Sadie.

It was a special day since we got to spend some time with an old friend, the original Valla! Jason and I met Valla many many years ago at the Orlando Magic games. She became a family friend and has always been such a happy, caring and kind person. At our wedding reception, Jason and I told her how much we loved her name and that if we ever had a little girl, we wanted to name her Valla. I'm not sure she believed us!

Here are Nat, Valla, Valla and Elise who is only 4 days older than Lauren.
After lunch, Val and I headed to her first Girl Scout outing- Outdoor Skills Day. The opening flag ceremony.

Cleaning dishes with a dunk bag
This video is from before Halloween, but I had a lot of trouble loading it. Louise had a scary animated butler she wasn't using this Halloween so we borrowed it. The girls knew nothing about it and this is how Jason introduced them to him....

During Veteran's Day, Valla asked about WW II. I gave her a quick run down and she kept asking more questions! At one point I explained who Hitler was and how he was "mean" to people who were Jewish and reminded her of our visit to Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam. She asked why he was mean to them. I explained he thought they weren't as good or smart as he was. Natalie, who had been listening pipes up with, "That's not true! He's wrong... my friend S is Jewish and she's real smart, she knows lots of bat facts."

V asked what my high school mascot was. I told her it's an Indian. She replied with, "that's good since it's close to Thanksgiving."

Jason commented how he'd been eating cookies at work since there was a plate of cookies in the break room. V asked why were they there. Natalie replies, "They're probably for Santa."

Little Red Hiding Hood- N

"An octopus has construction cups on it's leg."- N

N says, "I drank my whole glass of coke without stopping." She pulls up her shirt, "look how big my belly is!"

N, "My Dad is pretty awesome!"

L eating ice cream.

L loves this silly youtube video...

N at her jazz class...she loves it!
