The Tower of London is an ancient castle in the heart of Central London. It's where the crown jewels are on display, the famous ravens roost, and the site of the be-headings of centuries ago. It's amazing to see a castle with sometimes crumbling walls next to modern day glass and steel buildings.
The famed ravens who must stay at the Tower to insure London doesn't fall.
V & N met up with the local knight and serf for a guided tour.
Tower Bridge, right outside the Tower of London. It's often mistaken as London Bridge, which is actually a very boring cement bridge.
Not a great shot, but this is the real London Bridge...no big deal huh?
The London Eye is a gigantic ferris wheel that sits right on the edge of the Thames River. Very picturesque. We took the 25 minute ride around and it's very weird to look down through the glass floor and see the river.
View from the top.
Big Ben, it's actually the name of the bell, not the clock, who knew?
Westminister Abbey the location of the coronations, it's next to Parliament.
Funny signs...
When you need some grit... (it's actually rock salt to keep the roads from getting icy.)
