Redeeming Quality

Our German Shepard, Daisy, likes to be by people (when I say people I mean me) at all times.  It's like she's trying out for the part of my shadow (and is in serious competition with Lauren).
Since babies repeat what they hear, Lauren's first words weren't "mama" or "dada" but instead, "Daisy, GO LAY DOWN!"

Daisy also thinks stepping on your feet with her claws is fun, not to mention hovering near the kitchen and dinner table.

To be fair, we're pretty sure she was abandoned [and beat :( ] by her previous owners, so she has some issues with independence.

Since the temperature is rising outside, I threw the girls' winter coats into my room to eventually hang up in the back of our master closet to await our few weeks of next winter.   The coats were just laying on my floor.

Daisy became very interested in Valla's jacket.  She kept smelling it, nosing at it and finally licking it.  I unbuttoned the pocket and found these beauties...
Upon showing them to Val, she said, "Oh yeah!  I picked  baby oranges.... 3 weeks ago!"

Thank you Daisy, for exposing a potentially smelly problem.
I'll try convey "go lay down" in a nicer way.
