8 months & Greenwich

Lauren is getting so big! She's now 8 months. She has 6 teeth, 4 of those babies came in at the same time...ouch. She's pulling up on everything and is now starting to feel safe just leaning on things with no hands. Her favorite activity is high tailing it to the open dishwasher and removing anything she can get her hands on. She's an expert at climbing up the stairs and just today learned to open the kitchen cabinets and can successfully get down the step in the middle of the kitchen/living room. She says "Mamamama" a lot when she wants me, I consider that her first word, Jason's still holding out for Dada. She's a very vocal baby. Especially when we're in the museums and some of the big open spaces that she's learned will produce a grandiose echo. If you're looking for us...just listen for the noisy baby!

Here she is going through a bag...caught red handed.
More ice cream please!
Two sisters reading together...

We headed over to Greenwich by boat on the Thames. Here we are waiting.

Our boat ride
Bye to our boat...
LOVE these public bathrooms... you pay $.30 and you get 20 minutes. It then self cleans the toilet, floor and such between users.

Paying to go...

Greenwich Market...kinda like a flea market with lots of yummy food.

Sticky Toffee Pudding with hot cream...SO GOOD.
Pistachios in bologna...really?!?
The girls running in Greenwich Park. It was sunny and hovering around 60 degrees in the sun so there were lots of people out and about.
The official standard measurements.

One foot in the Eastern Hemisphere, one foot in the Western!
V loves being a big sister.Sunset from One Tree Hill, (tons of trees, bad name for the hill in my opinion.)
Loving on Sweet N

Running down the big hill...

Snack shop, love the name!
Beautiful V & the sunset.

We took a walk through a tunnel that goes under the Thames river...kinda freaky. This was the sign approaching the tunnel. Apparently "busking" means playing an instrument for money. (Good to know.)
THE tunnel, totally freaked me out, I'm not a fan.
Ok, you're going to have to double click on this photo to make it bigger and look very closely to see a horizontal line just above the horizon. It's a green line that marks the Prime Meridian.
