Paris
Jason and I broke away for a weekend in Paris. We had a wonderful time and it was so nice to take a break from being Mom and Dad. THANK YOU to Mary for watching the Click Clack Mafia!
We tried to keep costs down and took a coach from London to Paris. We had to get up at 4:30 to be picked up downtown at 6:30. We drove to Dover (saw the white cliffs!) and the entire bus got on the ferry. It was 1.5 hours across the English Channel and then 3 hours of French countryside to Paris. A LONG day on a bus, especially when you're surrounded by immature 19 year olds who babble for hours about nonsense. Am I already old and grumpy at 32?

Odd flavor choice...

Our 1st and best crepe. It was folded and filled with whipped cream. We were hungry and freezing... this warm piece of heaven hit the spot.

Jason's dinner...yumm :(
This was about midnight after getting up at 4:30, the bus, river tour, & Eiffel Tower...long day! Typical Europe, as we were leaving the restaurant was still packed and more people just sitting down for dinner.

When Jason and I went to Italy in 2000 we discovered the most perfect ice cream bar, the Chocolate Double Magnum. We've been on a quest ever since to find it again. Here's proof it was not a fantasy. Of course when we went inside they didn't have them :( The search is still alive...

Only in Paris do they turn a regular ice cream into a beautiful rose. Yummy too.
Versailles Palace
I thought this was neat because it had so many different layers of marble.

This is the subway sign. Don't they look like something out of the movie Alien?? The orange things are lights.
